Squeeze Sip Ooh!

 Hello,

Today you find me sharing another layout for The Mad Scrapper Blog and this time it is using photos of my cousins adorable grandchildren at a lemon photo shoot. As soon as I saw the photographs I knew I wanted to make a page for her.

I love the Botanical Buzz Collection by 49 and Market so I pulled out some papers to choose from along with ephemera and beautiful flowers. As you can see below I trimmed down the main paper and added a few rips where I tucked behind pieces of Vibrant to tuck under. I added it to a yellow and then a blue. All supplies are listed below in full, I used Delicate but it could have been any of the papers all are perfect.

After matting the main photo on blue I chose 3 to cut with a circle frame die and placed them on to blue too. Then I set about building up my layout. I placed the main photo in the centre up on foam which Janine sells then I added one photo bottom left and added lots of lovely flowers and some fussy cut lemons from a Cocoa Vanilla collection a couple of years back (one of those papers you just know will come in handy)

The next little photo is added to the top left of the main one and is tucked under, aren't they adorable sitting there together and look at her pretty dress too.

Here you can see some more of the lemons tucked in there and the title is added above, middle and bottom right of the layout. I used alphabet stickers for this.

This next little photo I almost made the main one but decided it made a better little add on. Ooh you can almost imagine the squeals after she sucked on the lemon!

I only added the one cluster of flowers to this layout of the children but I did finish the page with lemon and lime flat sequins and a couple of little stars which they are.

Floral Frenzy

 Hello and Happy New Year,

Today I am joining in with the Pinkfresh studio January 2026 Challenge  which is all about choosing your favourite challenge from 2025 and making a card or layout with that challenge. I have chosen floral frenzy from the month  April 2025 Challenge  but it could have been May with Frame it up.

This card uses Floral Bunch stencil and die (I don't have the stamp set, can't find it anywhere) along with petal trellis cover plate. I coloured in using all Pinkfresh inks and my own pattern paper. I added a elongated rectangular frame in white, the same as I had inked my florals on to. The card is a 5x7 top fold card.

Sisters in Law.

Today you find me on The Mad Scrapper Blog with another family layout to go along with another I made a couple of months back. That on was the 4 brothers at a wedding and this one is of the wives at another wedding with the addition of a sons wife so there are 5 O'Connell ladies.

I have used the same paper collection from 49 and Market as well as similar flowers but this time a touch more feminine I feel.

I started as I usually do by trimming my main paper down and distressing the edges before adding it to a solid paper but not before I gutted out the centre because I always find a use for some on the layout. The paper has 2 small faux stitched areas which I decided to stitch over using dusky pink quilting thread, you don't see it a lot but it adds texture.

Then using the saved paper I cut out a frame from a die I purchased from Janine, it's an art deco design and I tucked the photo just inside, I also stitched in cream at the top and bottom. Then I added some lace paper under the left hand side I added foam underneath for dimension and the ability to tuck my paper lace and chipboard tag under.

Then it was time to embellish with lots of flowers available in the store, here is the main cluster at the bottom left and that is my sister you see.

And here is the top right a little closer. I used a rose and a leaf sprig from a very old laser cut set from 49 and market, you may still have bits and bobs so look them out because they are too beautiful to leave in the packet.

In this photo you can just see a little bus ticket and that's a nod to the fact the congregation were driven to the reception on a special red double-decker bus. I also added the date within a little tab from another set. To finish off I added pearls about the clusters.

Birthday Card

 Hi,

today I am sharing a birthday card I have made for my sister who has a birthday just before Christmas and I do my utmost to not have any Christmas colours on it.

So I decided to use this gorgeous Magnolias from Pinkfresh Studio along with the coordinating stencil and die set. 

The card is a big 6x8 top folding card and on to that I added a mat which I first dry embossed using Petal Trellis coverplate die and brushed over using two of the colours I used on the flowers.

I stamped out two sets of the image using black and I left it one side for a couple of hours to make sure it was dry because I've had some smudging in the past. The inks I chose to use today are cherry blossom, peony and begonia along with spanish moss, doe, eucalyptus and lush forest. I have to say I am happy with the outcome and Thank You to Carissa Wiley for the inspiration.

I wanted to ground the images so I cut out a frame in rose gold using some postage edge dies I have  I cut it up to fit off the top and bottom of the mat. I cut extra images in white cardstock to give stability to the images. After I decided where everything was going I stuck it all down using liquid glue.

The sentiments are from my stash and were added to the same rose gold foil card.  To finish off I added some clear gems.

Today you find me over on  The Mad Scrapper Blog with this dreamy layout using beautiful papers and wonderful florals from Uniquely Creative available in store. A full list of supplies can be found below.

I started by choosing my main paper and ripping across so as I could keep the stitched Hope on view, then I tore across keeping the clock in sight. I flipped the paper to show the dots then after noticing how much I would have to play with I inked to two edges and stuck them down so no gaps showing this gave me just over 11 inches so I trimmed it up straight and distressed all edges and then attached it to a 11.5 piece of black and then that went down on to the light pink side of the coordinating cardstock bundle pack.

Then after deciding where my photograph would sit I die cut a piece of gold mirri card using a cover plate which cuts out those beautiful shell like pieces. I wanted to have it popping out both top and bottom so cut it up saving some of the little gold dots. Then I took a Dusty Attic chipboard in a heart design ( I like this because it came 12x12 in size) and painted it in gold acrylic and placed it at the bottom before sticking it down I added one of the larger florals.

A note about the florals they have a sticky back and they are in vellum so once I removed the backing I placed them on to copy paper and then close cut around them to remove the white edges, this also allowed me to put some card under some to give dimension when added to the layout you can not see the paper through the flower. They are beautiful and they are easy to cut around if this what you like to do. If you don't fancy these then the other Creative Cuts would work just as well.

Once I was happy with the above I mounted my photo on to the same pink as the bottom layer and then on to a light sage green I added some spare chipboard bits to level it out and attached it to the layout 

Here you can see more of the flowers added to the top left, again card was added to some for dimension 

Here you can see I added more flowers around the bottom right corner.

You will have seen on some of the photos above and this next one that I did use some of the gold dots out of the die cut as well as some pearls in a lovely pink

Dream the dreams

Today I am up on the The Mad Scrapper Blog with this dreamy layout using papers from Uniquely Creative. Janine has a shortcut on the Shop by Brand link online so now you can find everything so much more easily.

I started as always by gathering a few papers and embellishments I thought I may use. As you can see I chose some daisies from a previous set but they are white so I coloured them in using inks to imitate the flower colours on the main paper. I pulled out some words from the Boho collection but in the end I chose the words printed on the manufacturing strip.

I started by cutting the Heart and Soul paper down to 11.5 and distressing the top and right side then I added it to the light side of the new sage colour in the Dressed in Daydreams solid collection (I did gut out the centre to use later) . Then I took the Daydreams Scallop base layer and cut  away one side then I cut between the scallops distressing the edges and added them down lifting the top part slightly for dimension. To hide where they join I cut out some circles. Then I took my photo which is off Pinterest and matted that on to the darker side of the sage paper and distressed its edges too. Using some light card under I added it on top of the petals covering halfway of that circle stack I made.

Then I started adding the daisies and leaves I was using to 4 areas around the photo.

I tucked in the little words I had cut mounting them on the light side of the sage paper.

To finish off the flowers I added clear enamel dots which picked up the flower colours also a few tiny rhinestones were added too to bring out the blue.

 Today I'm sharing a card I have made to join in with  November 2025 Challenge for Cardmakers & Scrapbookers! – Pinkfresh Studio This month it is all about Petals and Thanks.

I have used Scallop Glow cover plate with a coral cardstock on to a white A2 card blank. Then I cut out a notched rectangle frame in seaglass tucking a little vellum underneath to soften the space before adding my florals, sentiment and jewels.
