Update - New sessions to the EU streaming endpoint are once again connecting successfully.

Update - New Streaming STT requests to the EU, `streaming.eu.assemblyai.com`, endpoint are currently failing with a DNS error. These errors should be resolved shortly as our update is applied.

Please note: the default streaming endpoint is unaffected and working normally at this time.

Update - Please note, it is possible that during this maintenance, some new sessions using the EU streaming endpoint may fail with a DNS error. If that occurs, we will quickly work to resolve those errors.

Scheduled - We will be performing infrastructure maintenance related to DNS changes for our Streaming STT service, specifically the `streaming.eu.assemblyai.com` endpoint, on Saturday, January 10, 2025. This maintenance will start at 4 pm PT and should be completed by 7 pm PT.

No customer impact is expected during this maintenance window. All services should remain fully operational.

Elevated connection errors when starting new Streaming sessions
Resolved - This increase in errors was inadvertantly caused by a change that was made around 8:30am PT, which was immediately reverted when our team noticed the increase in errors. We have continued to see good performance since that rollback and are now marking this issue as resolved.

Investigating - We experienced a spike in connection issues for new streaming sessions between 8:30 and 8:35am PT. These errors affected requests for both NA and EU regions. These connection issues have subsided, but our team is working to ensure continued good performance.
