Using the powerful query and reporting capabilities, the CMDB will tell you where an asset is, who is using it and what it relies on. With out-of-the-box support for all IT-related asset types including servers, software, databases, networks, people and locations, Canfigure can be easily extended to incorporate any asset type and attribute. Using built-in admin functions, you can build your own forms, menus and customize all aspects of the system. Excel data can be imported to rapidly populate the database and APIs are available for automated data feeds. Optionally add integrated Change Management to provide multi-level approval and notification for changes affecting your infrastructure.

Canfigure can effectively operate as a Computerized Maintenance Management System (CMMS) by utilizing the Asset Management module and mobile app. Included is the ability to define any kind of asset and track its life-cycle with full maintenance history and work order management. An asset maintenance schedule can be defined with automated reminders and optionally trigger specific workflows. Inventory and spare parts can be tracked including barcode scanning and label generation. Users can check-in and check-out assets such as tools or computer equipment.     "Great tool - high customizability makes it the perfect solution"

    Pros: The tool is highly customizable and fits our requirements perfectly. Many changes can be done directly by any admin, what makes the tool very flexible. For lager enhancements the Canfigure support is available with very short reaction time, so the changes can be completed in a timely manner.
    It is a great database. Any stored information can be used to create and pull a report or KPIs for further evaluation.
    Automatic synchronization with company AD groups allows easy user/ account managment.
    The pricing for all the offered functions is out of competition.

    Cons: It is not an obstacle, but the design is kept rather simple

    Overall: Great tool for software license and hardware management. I enjoyed working with the Canfigure team on customizations and see the tool become the optimal solution for our daily work.

    Pros: Canfigure was selected to develop our solution based on comprehensive empirical and subjective RFQ criteria and business reviews. From the first contact for the RFQ through implementation including production support, Canfigure has been professional, responsive, and supportive.

    As part of the RFQ process, the Canfigure team provided tailored demonstrations of functionality using client data and core functionality aligned with the stated RFQ objectives. The initial demonstrations incorporated this content within 1 week of being selected as a potential provider.

    Canfigure executes well and delivers on their promises. They engage and work as a seamless member of the project team in a “No Badges” approach to completing the work at hand. Canfigure supported daily development calls and often provided in meeting or next day turnaround on requests for new functionality.

    The development lead and business analyst demonstrated deep knowledge of industry standards and technical skills which allowed them to absorb large volumes of new information and incorporate it into the solution quickly and with relative ease. When business or technical challenges were encountered Canfigure actively engaged the IT and Business teams to overcome and resolve the issues promptly. Their Volume of work and Velocity are outstanding.

    The solution Canfigure provided is intuitive, adaptable, and able to accommodate changing business needs. Administrative capabilities are extensive, Power User capabilities provide a tiered level of support that allows effective data maintenance and End User support. End User interfaces are intuitive and simple to use. Workstream Productivity and application performance are exemplary, and serve to integrate and automate a substantial amount of previously manual and disbursed business processes.

    Cons: The Canfigure tool is ultimately adaptable and the technical abilities of the Canfigure team are capable of supporting nearly any business or technical request. The tendency within the business is to build an ever expanding wish list of functionality. Left uncontrolled this capability can represent an opportunity for gold plating and scope expansion.

    To Canfigure’s credit they proactively and cooperatively work with IT and the business to ensure scope, timeline, and budget are maintained. A backlog of enhancement requests were recursively managed and identified for future implementation. Canfigure was responsive to change requests and provided very competitive quotes with reasonable pricing for increased scope requests.

    Overall: Canfigure is an effective solution with a strong support team. I highly recommend reviewing this solution for your business needs. My experience is that if the tool doesn't immediately address your needs it can be configured to exceed your expectations.
