Auto Backup for MySQL Professional Edition works as a stand-alone utility, and does not require any additional software. It's NOT necessary to have MySQL / MariaDB client installed on your local computer to perform backups or restores. The software can be used to back up MySQL / MariaDB databases from the original server to the SQL files on the local disk or network driver, to the backup server, or copy a database to the other, vice verse, it can be used to restore MySQL / MariaDB databases from the SQL files, the backup server or database. Auto Backup for MySQL Professional Edition will automatically perform the backup and restore work unattended. You can also run the program manually, any time you'd like. OraDump-to-MySQL is a program to export data from Oracle dump files into MySQL, MariaDB or Percona database. The program does direct reading from the dump, so Oracle installation is not required. Command line support allows to script, automate and schedule the conversion process.
