About
AWS Database Migration Service helps you migrate databases to AWS quickly and securely. The source database remains fully operational during the migration, minimizing downtime to applications that rely on the database. The AWS Database Migration Service can migrate your data to and from most widely used commercial and open-source databases. AWS Database Migration Service can migrate your data to and from most of the widely used commercial and open source databases. It supports homogeneous migrations such as Oracle to Oracle, as well as heterogeneous migrations between different database platforms, such as Oracle to Amazon Aurora. Migrations can be from on-premises databases to Amazon Relational Database Service (Amazon RDS) or Amazon Elastic Compute Cloud (Amazon EC2), databases running on EC2 to RDS, or vice versa, as well as from one RDS database to another RDS database. It can also move data between SQL, NoSQL, and text-based targets.

About
Amazon Relational Database Service (Amazon RDS) makes it easy to set up, operate, and scale a relational database in the cloud. It provides cost-efficient and resizable capacity while automating time-consuming administration tasks such as hardware provisioning, database setup, patching and backups. It frees you to focus on your applications so you can give them the fast performance, high availability, security and compatibility they need. Amazon RDS is available on several database instance types - optimized for memory, performance or I/O - and provides you with six familiar database engines to choose from, including Amazon Aurora, PostgreSQL, MySQL, MariaDB, Oracle Database, and SQL Server. You can use the AWS Database Migration Service to easily migrate or replicate your existing databases to Amazon RDS.

About
Oracle Database@AWS enables customers to migrate Oracle Databases, including Oracle Exadata workloads, to Oracle Exadata Database Service on Dedicated Infrastructure or Oracle Autonomous Database on Dedicated Exadata Infrastructure within AWS. This migration requires minimal to no database or application changes while maintaining full feature and architecture compatibility, performance, and availability. Customers can establish low-latency connections between Oracle Database@AWS and applications deployed in AWS, including on Amazon Elastic Compute Cloud (Amazon EC2). Oracle Database@AWS integrates directly with AWS Analytics services through zero-ETL to unify data across Oracle and AWS, enabling analytics and machine learning. Further, integration with AWS generative AI services is supported to accelerate innovation. It offers a unified experience for collaborative purchasing, management, operations, and support.
