jsGoRithm v2.0 is a program animation application intented for use in teaching introductory courses to programming. It works on main browsers and comes with a short database of programs to start with.

Program database includes lineal and binary search as well as sorting algorithms such as selectSort, insertSort, mergeSort and quickSort.

It can be used locally or remotely.

Advantages of jsGoRithm include:
- It does not require any user experience
- It comes with a wide set of examples
- It can be used as a help in class for typical "algorithm following" sessions
- It can be used at the same time by students
- It can be modified to adapt "program state" visualization to particular needs
- ... among others that can be as surprising as unknown features! (yes, you can think of 'bugs' ;-))

If you find it useful, but need more info, drop me a line.

If you wanna refer to it, there's also a publication (in Spanish):
[Rib11] Lluís Ribas-Xirgo. "Animación interactiva de algoritmos para cursos de introducción a la programación (Interactive Algorithm Animation for Introductory Courses to Programming)," in 'Proc. of Jornadas de la ENseñanza Universitaria de la Informática (JENUI)', Seville (Spain), July 2011.
