====================== GIN WEAVER README FILE ====================== Procedure for installing the GIN Weaver-Bundle ========================================================================================== 1) Download the bundle 2) Unpack it 3) Modify the GIN Weaver-Configuration (see Modifying the GIN Weaver-Configuration) 4) Run the start-script with "sh <install-dir>/GIN_WEAVER/scripts/start_iqser.sh" (for windows just click the start_iqser.bat) 5) Wait for the server to start. In the meantime you can check the server-log under <install-dir>/GIN_WEAVER/jboss-5.1.0.GA/server/default/log/server.log. When the server is ready, the your systems default browser should open the GIN Weaver-Startpage. Modifying the GIN Weaver-Configuration ========================================================================================== The configuration-file is located under <install-dir>/GIN_WEAVER/jboss-5.1.0.GA/server/default/conf/iqser-config.xml As default only the Filesystem Content Provider is enabled. You should modify the path where it looks for your documents: <!-- folder from where the files are read --> <init-param> <param-name>folder</param-name> <param-value>[/path/to/your/documents]</param-value> </init-param> If you want to use another ContentProvider, just uncomment the appropriate section in the configuration-file and set the parameters as you need it.
