WebDevStudio is an Online Integrated Development Environment (IDE) based on AJAX and PHP technology. Users would be designing and developing computer application through Web clients.
Here are the changes since 1.6:
- New code editor based on EditArea, with highlight and suggest code.
- New UNIX and Win32 projects (cross compiling) support.
- New and more emergent menus, in file explorer and tabs.
- New dialog windows.
- New resizable and sortable modules and tabs on workarea.

WebDevStudio has entered the final phase of the "I Concurso Universitario de Software Libre", a competition between free projects developed into the Spanish universities.

We will have to wait until the final phase, that will be celebrated in May in Seville, to know the final result.

It has been released version 1.0 of WebDevStudio. You can download source code (PHP format) and documentation (SHTML format). You can also see tool documentation in webdevstudio.sourceforge.net

The first version of our project would be released in the next two weeks. However, it would probably not be a stable version until a month or more.

We are now starting to design a tool which would let people without an IDE installed in their computers create new projects. We should be releasing screenshots and documentation as long as the tool is being designed.
