Hi,
Thanks for replies ;-),

So are chances to add this feature into the project?
Now i must use Pgpool-II to creating load balancing fuctionality ( in 
master-salve configuration :/), configuration master-master in this case 
will be much better...

Attempt to create savepoint will return "Not Supported" error, so the
transaction aborts at the point where you create the savepoint.

I have a question about transactions, i readed that postgres-xc doesn't 
support savepoints. What happens if transaction fails ?

My application use postgreSQL and implement savepoint dao class with 
create savepoint in database. I want to migrate from postgreSQL to 
postgres-xc and i don't know what to do in this situation.

operation such as:

So far, we don't have dedicated supporting farm.   I believe any PostgreSQL
supporting companies can provide XC support.

support for the project is nice and I find no reason to stop the project in
several years.

Koichi Suzuki can probably best answer this, but since Postgres-XC is open
source, you have the freedom to modify it. As part of our vision for our
version, we have added data node to data node communication for MPP
parallelism, high availability, and multi-tenant security.

We want to make improvements for more flexibility.

Also, we are seeing that adding support for distributed constraints may be
important to help adoption.

At StormDB, we offer support for both XC and our StormDB version. For some
it is worthwhile to be able to contact someone when there are XC issues. We
have customers running specially patched XC versions to address issues, and
we have contributed these patches back.

Just letting you know there are options. We have spoken to other PostgreSQL
consulting companies that are considering offering XC support as well,
possibly having StormDB help out for level 2/3 support.

Here, too, NTT Data can better answer from their point of view.  Even if
NTT Data pulls out of further development, StormDB plans on continuing
development and support of XC and StormDB.
