Self answer: Ok, I see code in the transaction code path which retries the connection. So, maybe autovac etc. ignores connection failure, prints out the warning and goes away.. In the InitGTM function if the connection to the GTM does not succeed, we print out a WARNING. "can not connect to GTM: Connection timed out" Shouldn't it be an error? What will the transaction do without a GTM? Or we have code which re-connects later whenever needed to the GTM?
