cosmetic changes

add colorbar

replace "faceted=False" with "edgecolors='none' to suppress deprecation warning

convert more examples to numpy/pyplot namespace

change import to 'from mpl_toolkits.basemap import Basemap'

use drawmapboundary to fill map projection region
a specified color. Useful for painting ocean areas
(instead of setting axis background color, which only
works for rectangular projections).

make basemap-testing the trunk
