look in /opt/local for geos lib (macports installs there)

install dap client anyway if installed version is older.

search in lib64 too.

try to automatically detect GEOS lib location (instead of forcing user
to set GEOS_DIR env var). On Leopard, env vars don't get passed by
sudo.

add date2num and num2date functions to basemap namespace.

only install dap and httplib2 if not already available

add httplib2, since dap requires it.
