matplotlib Code

Increased coverage of backend_driver.py to include almost everything

restored unit support for ellipses -- and added examples/units/ellipse_with_units.py

changed cbooks reversed to agree with the python builtin

Optimize shared axes (to prevent calling set_xlim/set_ylim more than
once per axes per update).
Save figure at correct dpi.
General cleanup and optimizations.
