Add valignment = 'baseline' feature to align text by its baseline.

Remove the "markup" kwarg and rcParam everywhere and replace it with
an automatic detection of math markup.

mathtext.* font rcParams now use fontconfig patterns to specify fonts.
Support converting FontProperties objects to/from fontconfig patterns.

Add kwarg 'markup' for all text that allows the user to choose either
'plain' or 'tex' markup. A default may also be provided in the
rcParam 'text.markup'.
Minor bugfix to mathtext.py

Merging mathtext changes into trunk.

Numpification new try: dont touch numerix/, but make mpl code independent of it.
(Including conversion to "import numpy as npy")
