Removed duplicate calculation of tcolors in contour

First draft of spy3, possible replacement for spy and spy2.

Updated the way in which the Qt event loop is dealt with. Now allows for the fact that the event loop may have been created outside of the matplotlib interface and does not attempt to start another if that is the case.
