For qt backends, dont create a QApplication when the backend is
imported. Do it in show().

fixed copyright information

mathtext fonts are now searched in the OS font dir, and in mpl-data dir. env is now not a dict, but a separate class instance.

fix linspace() so that when N==1, an array of shape (1,) is returned

Added matplotlibrc key "mathtext.mathtext2" (removed the key "mathtext2"). Minor changes to __init__.py, mathtex2_demo.py.

Fixed the layout of more complex fractions

Removed the escape char "\" from the unicode dicts in _mathtext_data.py. (Also fixed this in mathtext.py)
