Yes I see what you mean, I think the Microsoft people brought this = on themselves; people shouldn't have to download 5 megs worth of files = just to get one 200k file that they really want. Shameless plug: I've added 5 more tools from platform SDK they are: Stress.zip - similar to resource watcher = (which comes with windows) Heap Walker.zip - walk the heap : ) ImagEdit.zip - kinda dumb image editor Heap Watcher.zip - watch the heap : ) Screen Capture.zip - let's you capture your screen movments = and saves it as an .avi -------------------------------------------------------------------------= ------- "Don`t be afraid about it ;-) i can see what`s spam and what`s not spam = :) The only thing i see there, is that DlgEdit may probably not = distributed like this as it is under the freedomless Microsoft license. = This is just for you to know, but you won`t probably have troubles since = Microsoft looks like the "bad" company with their licenses since Linux = and its Free Software have came (so they`re probably trying to change that people = feeling :-) I had the same problem for distributing the Win32 API help file, but i = was encouraged (by a person who got the license to distribute this file) = to distribute it too, although i did not have its license.=20 I hope you see what i mean :-) Greetings, Colin" |
