You may need to use fstat and not lstat. A quick look at sys/types.h shows there is no lstat. Also, you may need to do a: #define fstat _fstat to make it work with "fstat" as the MSCRT mangles the standard C function names by placing "_" in front of this (which I do not fully understand). In my mingw sys/types.h int _fstat (int, struct _stat*); int _chmod (const char*, int); int _stat (const char*, struct _stat*); As for getwd(), however, in io.h, this is defined: char* _getcwd (char*, int); Could you use it instead? > Secondly, we also use the sqltypes.h header and it reports tons of = > errors due to some intrinsic types that do not seem to be defined. > Does = anyone know what additional headers need to be pulled in if > sqltypes.h = is used? #include <windows.h> #include <sqltypes.h> Elizabeth |

This Email converted to plain text format to keep file size down, & stop choking your hard drive, faster download, a ratio about 2.5:1 Thanks very much Paul For your warning, AND IT IS GOOD TO SEE YOU HAVE USING GREEN WITH A HTML TYPE EMAIL. For one reason or another I never saw that Email with that virus, I must of deleted off the server because the file size was too big. I would like to set my "do not download if more than [10k] " (email rule) but there seems to be a lot of HTML email sent that multiples the size by about 2.5, this would stop a lot of virus coming on to your computer, then you can download a free program called, MailWasher 1.32.9, (mailwasher1329.exe 1.6Meg in file size.) MailWasher is a powerful email checker. from http://www.mailwasher.net/ and because of the HTML Email makes it hard to set the limit at 10K which is plenty big enough for any standard quarry to the group. Sorry if my Email upsets you, but I just had my whole weekend wrecked because a friend got a virus and he asked me to help him, getting rid of the virus was easy reinstalling his computer was the time consuming part. So now I have a three point plan to stop virus, (1) first when I check my Email I check with a program called "mailwasher" to see details on the Email before I download anything. and can delete from the internet provider, so a email virus never see my computer. (2) I have set my mail rules "don't download if the Email size is bigger than 10K" then I had to increase that to 18K. This method has all ready stopped download Email attachments that the Email group I am in said had a virus to it, before I installed "mailwasher". (3) You guest it, I keep my anti virus program up to date, almost checking it every day. From Eric NO ATTACHMENT WAS SENT WITH THIS EMAIL, IF THERE IS ONE, IT IS A UNDETECTED VIRUS, PLEASE LET ME KNOW.. This Email converted to plain text format to keep file size down, & stop choking your hard drive, faster download, a ratio about 2.5:1 This Email converted to plain text format to keep file size down, & stop choking your hard drive, faster download, a ratio about 2.5:1 HATE SPAM !! Hello, Is the Resource editor that comes with the LCC compiler the only decent one available for free ? The strange thing is when I try to save any dialogue I get an access violation error. How is there anything special I have to do in order to use it ? Thanks Napoleon. __________________________________________________ Do you Yahoo!? Some moron has placed an autoreply-to-all to his email address. This means he autoreplies to his autoreplies and the mailing list is flooded (DOS attack). Till Colin fixes the problem, i 'll use his autoreply feature to self-flood his account, so if Colin doesn't fix it soon, his account will be full by his own autoreplies so he will no longer receive mailing list emails so he will not autoreply. :) Please be patient. Hello all! This is a two-part appeal: I am have having difficulty porting some code from our borland 5.02 C++ = and our Sun Solaris C++ compilers. We build this code (libraries and = CGI executable drivers) on both platforms and I am trying to consoidate = our codebase to one compiler (gcc) for both environments. I am getting the following messages when there is a module using the = lstat and getwd structs defined in sys/stat.h 'implicit declaration of function int getwd(...)' and 'implicit declaration of function int lstat(...)' The actual code is prety straight-forward: int stat_value; struct stat statv; struct stat dbuf; struct dirent *dirent_save; getwd(dirnow); buf =3D opendir(dirnow); stat_value =3D stat(dirent_save->d_name,&dbuf); if(dirent_save->d_name[0] !=3D '.') lstat(dirent_save->d_name,&statv); I need help in trying to resolve this. Secondly, we also use the sqltypes.h header and it reports tons of = errors due to some intrinsic types that do not seem to be defined. Does = anyone know what additional headers need to be pulled in if sqltypes.h = is used? Thanks in advance Bill |
