CodeSnip Old Code (SVN)

Some methods were raising an ECodeSnip derived exception when programming faults were detected. These were replaced by assertions.

Partially implemented suggestion in comment to feature request 3105288 so that errors reported when clicking "Render Extra Information" button on Snippets Editor's Extra Information tab now refocuses memo control containing error.

* Created new UMemoCaretPosDisplayMgr unit to take care of displaying caret position of memo controls in associated labels.
* Revised snippets editor to use new TMemoCaretPosDisplayMgr to display memo caret positions and added caret position display for extra information memo.

Updated copyright date ranges to include 2010.

Removed URLDecode and URLEncode functions from UHTMLUtils unit. Replaced all calls to these functions with calls to URIDecode and URIEncode from the UURIEncode unit.

* Added new DB.USnippetKindGroup unit that provides a skeleton implementation of a snippet kind group in the database along with supporting types.
* Added DUnit test suite for DB.USnippetKindGroup unit.

* Added new DB.UInitialLetterGroup unit that provides a skeleton implementation of an initial-letter group in the database along with supporting types.
* Added DUnit test suite for DB.UInitialLetterGroup unit.

Added UTestHelpers unit to SVN (omitted from previous commit at r979).

* Added new UTestHelpers unit to unit tests project to provide commonly used code for use by test cases. Only content is TAlwaysFreeController class. (Neglected to add UTestHelpers to SVN repo - see r980 for rectification).
* Modified various test case units that provided their own implementations of TAlwaysFreeController to use version in UTestHelpers unit.

* Added new DB.UCategoryGroup unit that provides a skeleton implementation of a category group in the database along with supporting types.
* Added test suite for DB.UCategoryGroup unit.
