Merged revision(s) 2480-2637, 2485-2637 from branches/portable:

This merges ability to conditionally compile portable edition to main code base. Code is based on that used for Release 4.0.1 portable beta 1.

Root directory and ChangeLog-v3.txt have changes only to svn@... property.

Other significant changes:
* Support for PORTABLE symbol used to conditionally compile portable edition when defined and standard edition when not.
* Documentation updates re addition of portable edition.
* Version info and program ids differ between editions.

Changed units which have no specific namespace from MPL v1.1 to MPL v2.0.

Standardised format of Assert statement: all classes use ClassName method for class name and routines use routine name. Records have record name as literal.

* Removed all code that is excluded from Delphi 2009 / 2010 by conditionally defined symbols.
* Removed related $IFDEFs. Unused symbols removed from CompilerDefines.inc.
* Removed UAltBugFix.pas unit from project and removed all references to it since its functional code was excluded by conditional symbols on Delphi 2009 and later.

Updated copyright date where required on some files modified in 2010.

Merged delphi2010-port branch back into trunk.

Removed compiler directives that switch off "unsafe" code, type and cast warnings. These warnings are now disabled globally for the whole project.

New unit containing a set of classes that assist in hooking and handling common dialog box messages. Also provides helper methods for handling dialog box messages.
