CodeSnip Old Code (SVN)

Merged trunk changes 1107, 1111 and 1182-1185 into the v4-dev branch.

Made conflict resolution changes by rejecting changes to affected files in all cases and keeping versions in this branch.

Some files are physically unchanged and have changes only to their svn:mergeinfo property.

Added new HTML document describing Main Database File Format to the Docs/FileFormats directory. This replaces IniDataFileFormat.odt from the Docs/Design directory.

Added new style for HTML "acronym" tag.

New CSS file for file format documentation along with new placeholder index file.

New directory for file format documentation.

* Updated code that reads / writes user database to use new v5 file format: database.xml now has explicit UTF-8 encoding and data files are now also written in UTF-8. Ability to read older format data files using default encoding retained.
* Updated user database file format documentation re changes.

Made some corrections and amplifications.

* Expanded introductory text.
* Added new section noting differences between file versions.
* Reformatted and edited section on supported XML tags.
* Added new section explaining .dat file format.

* Corrected some errors including adding some missing tags to section on supported tags.
* Some reformatting.

* Updated re export file format v5.
