PopcornTimeTV was an Apple TV, iPhone and iPad application to torrent movies and tv shows for streaming. Since 2016, this project has grown exponentially - both in its user base and in its functionality. However, the team size has gone the other way. We went from having 13+ developers on the team to 1 developer and 1 designer, both of whom have lives and projects outside of Popcorn Time. We have decided that we have given our all to this project and it's time for us to move on to pursue greater things. There is no doubt that this comes with a heavy heart as we have learned so much from this project and watched it grow from this simple torrenting app that could only play 720p video, to what it is today. All that being said, we do not want this project to just die after we leave. The size of the project might be a bit daunting to an unseasoned developer but the app is extremely stable and packed with almost every feature you could need. -

Apply background tinting to the Android system UI when using KitKat translucent modes. Android 4.4 (KitKat) introduced translucent system UI styling for status and navigation bars. These styles are great for wallpaper based activities like the home screen launcher, but the minimal background protection provided makes them less useful for other types of activity unless you supply your own backgrounds inside your layout. Determining the size, position and existence of the system UI for a given device configuration can be non-trivial. This library offers a simple way to create a background "tint" for the system bars, be it a color value or Drawable. By default it will give you a semi-opaque black background that will be useful for full-bleed content screens where persistent system UI is still important - like when placed over a map or photo grid. -

Put the contents/source code in the root or in a sub folder of the host/domain, as required. A MySql database need to be created in order to work, but the package will create the database, if one doesn't exist on initialisation. The details of the database need to be given in the dbconfig.php file by editing it. The details of the router device also need to be entered in the config.php file prior to operations. Android component which presents a dismissible view
BottomSheet is an Android component which presents a dismissible view from the bottom of the screen. BottomSheet can be a useful replacement for dialogs and menus but can hold any view so the use cases are endless. This repository includes the BottomSheet component itself but also includes a set of common view components presented in a bottom sheet. These are located in the commons module. The IntentPickerSheetView component presents an intent chooser in the form of a BottomSheet view. Give it an intent such as a share intent and let the user choose what activity they want to share the intent with in a BottomSheet. The MenuSheetView component presents a BottomSheet view that's backed by a menu. It behaves similarly to the new NavigationView in the Design support library, and is intended to mimic the examples in the Material Design spec. It supports list and grid states, with the former adding further support for separators and subheaders. -

Android library for building complex screens in a RecyclerView
Epoxy is an Android library for building complex screens in a RecyclerView. Models are automatically generated from custom views or databinding layouts via annotation processing. These models are then used in an EpoxyController to declare what items to show in the RecyclerView. This abstracts the boilerplate of view holders, diffing items and binding payload changes, item types, item ids, span counts, and more, in order to simplify building screens with multiple view types. Additionally, Epoxy adds support for saving view state and automatic diffing of item changes. We developed Epoxy at Airbnb to simplify the process of working with RecyclerViews, and to add the missing functionality we needed. We now use Epoxy for most of the main screens in our app and it has improved our developer experience greatly. If you are using layout resources in Epoxy annotations then for library projects add Butterknife's gradle plugin to your buildscript. -

A Cocoa / Objective-C wrapper around SQLite
This is an Objective-C wrapper around SQLite. FMDB 2.7 attempts to support a more natural interface. This represents a fairly significant change for Swift developers (audited for nullability; shifted to properties in external interfaces where possible rather than methods; etc.). For Objective-C developers, this should be a fairly seamless transition (unless you were using the ivars that were previously exposed in the public interface, which you shouldn't have been doing, anyway!). FMDB 2.7 is largely the same as prior versions, but has been audited for nullability. For Objective-C users, this simply means that if you perform a static analysis of your FMDB-based project, you may receive more meaningful warnings as you review your project, but there are likely to be few, if any, changes necessary in your code. For Swift users, this nullability audit results in changes that are not entirely backward compatible with FMDB 2.6, but is a little more Swifty. -

A clean and easy-to-use floating panel UI component for iOS
FloatingPanel is a simple and easy-to-use UI component for a new interface introduced in Apple Maps, Shortcuts and Stocks app. The new interface displays the related contents and utilities in parallel as a user wants. 4 positioning support(top, left, bottom, right). 1 or more magnetic anchors(full, half, tip and more). Layout support for all trait environments(i.e. Landscape orientation). Common UI elements: surface, backdrop and grabber handle. Free from common issues of Auto Layout and gesture handling. FloatingPanel is written in Swift 5.0+. Compatible with iOS 11.0+. The deployment is still iOS 10, but it is recommended to use this library on iOS 11+. If you need more control over showing and hiding the floating panel, you can forgo the addPanel and removePanelFromParent methods. These methods are a convenience wrapper for FloatingPanel's show and hide methods along with some required setup.
