    ObjectMapper

    ObjectMapper

Simple JSON Object mapping written in Swift

ObjectMapper is a framework written in Swift that makes it easy for you to convert your model objects (classes and structs) to and from JSON. Once your class implements Mappable, ObjectMapper allows you to easily convert to and from JSON. Use functions to validate JSON prior to object serialization provide an existing cached object to be used for mapping, return an object of another type (which also conforms to BaseMappable) to be used for mapping. For instance, you may inspect the JSON to infer the type of object that should be used for mapping. ObjectMapper supports dot notation within keys for easy mapping of nested objects. ObjectMapper also supports custom transforms that convert values during the mapping process. To use a transform, simply create a tuple with map["field_name"] and the transform of your choice on the right side of the <- operator.

    Percollate

    Percollate

A command-line tool to turn web pages into beautiful, readable PDF

Percollate is a command-line tool that turns web pages into beautifully formatted PDF, EPUB, or HTML files. By default, percollate processes URLs in parallel. Use the --wait option to process them sequentially instead, with a pause between items. The delay is specified in seconds, and can be zero. By default, percollate bundles all web pages in a single file. Use the --individual flag to export each source to a separate file. Additional CSS styles you can pass from the command line to override styles specified by the default/custom stylesheet. Generate a hyperlinked table of contents. The option is implicitly enabled when bundling more than one web page to a single file. Disable this implicit behavior by passing the --no-to flag. The idea with percollate is to make PDFs that can be printed without losing where the hyperlinks point to. However, for some link-heavy pages, the appended hrefs can become bothersome.

    PurifyCSS

    PurifyCSS

Remove unused CSS. Also works with single-page apps

A function that takes content (HTML/JS/PHP/etc) and CSS, and returns only the used CSS. PurifyCSS does not modify the original CSS files. You can write to a new file, like minification. If your application is using a CSS framework, this is especially useful as many selectors are often unused. Statically analyzes your code to pick up which selectors are used. The CLI currently does not support file patterns. Remove unused CSS code from your stylesheet. PurifyCSS is meant to be installed via npm and built into your build process using tools like Grunt, Gulp or Webpack. However if you're using a different development stack or building your sites with a CMS like Wordpress, you can use the online tool to clean up your stylesheet. Especially if you are using CSS frameworks like Bootstrap or a multi-purpose Wordpress theme, chances are you are actually using less than 20% of the defined CSS rules.

Uses familiar Spring concepts such as a template class for core API usage and lightweight repository-style data access. The primary goal of the Spring Data project is to make it easier to build Spring-powered applications that use new data access technologies such as non-relational databases, map-reduce frameworks, and cloud-based data services. Connection package as low-level abstraction across multiple Redis drivers (Lettuce and Jedis). Exception translation to Spring’s portable Data Access exception hierarchy for Redis driver exceptions. RedisTemplate that provides a high level abstraction for performing various Redis operations, exception translation and serialization support. Pubsub support (such as a MessageListenerContainer for message-driven POJOs). Redis Sentinel and Redis Cluster support. Reactive API using the Lettuce driver. JDK, String, JSON and Spring Object/X.

Java Docker API Client. To start using docker-java , you need to add at least two dependencies. You will need an instance of DockerClientConfig to tell the library how to access Docker, which credentials to use to pull from Docker registries, etc. The builder is available and allows you to configure every property of the client. Should you need to customize the Jackson's ObjectMapper used by docker-java, you can create your own DockerClientConfig. Once you decided which transport to use, you will need to instantiate an HTTP client. Once you have an HTTP client, you can make raw requests to the Docker daemon directly. To get an instance of DockerClient, you need to pass both DockerClientConfig and DockerHttpClient.

    ktlint

    ktlint

No configuration, which means no decisions to make, nothing to argue about and no special files to manage. While this might sound extreme, keep in mind that ktlint tries to capture (reflect) official code style from kotlinlang.org and Android Kotlin Style Guide (+ we respect your .editorconfig and support additional ruleset|s). Built-in formatter. So that you wouldn't have to fix all style violations by hand. Customizable output. plain (+ plain?group_by_file), JSON, HTML and check style reporters are available out-of-the-box. It's also easy to create your own. A single executable jar with all dependencies included. ktlint is a single binary with both linter & formatter included. All you need is to drop it in (no need to get overwhelmed while choosing among dozens of code style options).

    redux-saga

    redux-saga

An alternative side effect model library for Redux applications

redux-saga is a library that aims to make application side effects (i.e. asynchronous things like data fetching and impure things like accessing the browser cache) easier to manage, more efficient to execute, easy to test, and better at handling failures. The mental model is that a saga is like a separate thread in your application that's solely responsible for side effects. redux-saga is a redux middleware, which means this thread can be started, paused and cancelled from the main application with normal redux actions, it has access to the full redux application state and it can dispatch redux actions as well. It uses an ES6 feature called Generators to make those asynchronous flows easy to read, write and test. (if you're not familiar with them here are some introductory links) By doing so, these asynchronous flows look like your standard synchronous JavaScript code. (kind of like async/await, but generators have a few more awesome features we need).

    tqdm

    tqdm

A Fast, Extensible Progress Bar for Python and CLI

tqdm is a fast, extensible progress bar for Python and CLI that enables you to see the progress of your loops in a clear and smart way. Simply wrap any iterable with tqdm(iterable), and sit back and watch that progress meter go! tqdm can be wrapped around any iterable, or executed as a module with pipes. Just by inserting tqdm (or python -m tqdm) between pipes will pass through all stdin to stdout while printing progress to stderr. tqdm does not require any dependencies, has a very low overhead and uses smart algorithms to predict the remaining time and skip unnecessary iteration displays. It works on just about any platform, console or in a GUI, as well as IPython/Jupyter notebooks.

    Bare minimum 500b fetch polyfill

Tiny 500b fetch "barely-polyfill". With a module bundler like rollup or webpack, you can import unfetch to use in your code without modifying any globals. While one of Unfetch's goals is to provide a familiar interface, its API may differ from other fetch polyfills/ponyfills. One of the key differences is that Unfetch focuses on implementing the fetch() API, while offering minimal (yet functional) support to the other sections of the Fetch spec, like the Headers class or the Response class. Uses simple arrays instead of iterables, since arrays are iterables. No streaming, just Promisifies existing XMLHttpRequest response bodies. Use in Node.JS is handled by isomorphic-unfetch.

    xbar

    xbar

Put anything in your macOS menu bar

xbar (the BitBar reboot) lets you put the output from any script/program in your macOS menu bar. xbar underwent a complete rewrite from the ground up in Go. You can browse all the plugins online, or write your own. To write a plugin, just write some form of executable script that outputs to the standard output. To write a plugin, you need to be able to produce some kind of executable (usually a script) that prints out lines of text. Variables are stored in JSON files alongside your plugin. The key is the name of the Variable and the name of the environment variable. The values are the user's preferences. You can programmatically modify the JSON files to adjust the values. Use the refresh control API above to refresh plugins after changing variables. Be sure to include appropriate Metadata to enhance the plugin's entry on xbarapp.com.
