Dolibarr ERP/CRM je odprtokodna programska oprema/prosto programje za majhna in srednje velika podjetja, fundacije ali ljudi v svobodnem poklicu (freelancers). Vključuje različne funkcije Upravljanja podjetniških virov "Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP)" in Upravljanja odnosov s kupci "Customer Relationship Management (CRM)", kot tudi druge funkcije za različne poslovne aktivnosti.

Funkcije

Na voljo je več modulov, ki jih lahko vklopite ali izklopite, glede na to, katere funkcije programa zahtevate. Torej lahko izberete le tiste, ki jih zares potrebujete. Ta programska oprema je prosto programje, na voljo kot GNU General Public License 2.0 License and as it is a web application, can be used from everyplace with an Internet access. Dolibarr is a project build with one goal: to be an ERP/CRM which respects the "3S" rule^[1]:

Dolibarr includes the most important features of an ERP/CRM, excluding accountability. It is highly modular and is characterized by its ease of installation and ease of use despite the large number of features that can be activated by the means of modules.

Several menu managers (can be used by internal users, as a back-office, with a particular menu, or by external users, as a front-office, with another menu and permissions).

Works with Mysql 3.1 or higher, experimental support for PostgreSql.
Works with PHP 4.3 or higher.

Manjkajoče funkcije

These features are not available even in the most recent version of Dolibarr:

No accountancy (only bank management).
Dolibarr manage one currency at once (mono-currency).
Dolibarr manage one company/foundation (mono-company)
Does not support double VAT (Federal / provincial) for Canada.
Dolibarr does not contain human relation management.
Dolibarr does not contain project management modules.
Dolibarr does not include any Webmail.

Arhitektura

Dolibarr is written in PHP. It uses MySQL databases. It works with a wide choice of hosting services or servers. Dolibarr works with all PHP configurations (as described above) and does not require any additional PHP module.

Note that Dolibarr is also available with an auto-installer for Windows and MAC users with no technical knowledge to install Dolibarr and all its prerequisites (Apache, Mysql, PHP) with just one auto-exe file. This version is called DoliWamp for Windows users, DoliBuntu for Ubuntu like users, and DoliMamp for MAC users.

Zgodovina

Dolibarr was started by Rodolphe Quiedeville, from scratch, and saved under CVS, hosted by Savannah, in April 2002. Jean-Louis Bergamo, another April member, started the foundation management module.

Version 1.0 was released in September 2003.

In July 2008, Rodolphe let the main contributor Laurent Destailleur (also author of the other popular OpenSource project AWStats) to lead the project.
