Hand Knotted Sleeping Beauty Turquoise Necklace with a James Avery Saint Francis of Assisi Charm, Choice of Special Bonded Thread Color

This listing is for a necklace made with 4mm natural Sleeping Beauty Turquoise rondelles, two sterling end caps, a small sterling silver lobster clasp, and a sterling silver James Avery Saint Francis of Assisi charm. The PTFE 3-ply, bonded, twisted thread is exceptionally durable thread and will resist fading, fraying, and deterioration. It's resistant to mildew, rot, chemicals, UV rays, and severe weather, supplying lasting color. It has a lifetime guarantee. The length varies on this necklace from 19.5" to 22". I have put the length in the drop down menu next to the color of the necklaces which are already made. This is a very special James Avery pendant on a Clare Corré Creation necklace. The pendant is a collectible James Avery pendant depicting St. Francis, the Patron Saint of Animals, with a deer and a dove beneath a tree branch. This particular design has been retired by James Avery and is no longer available on their web site. The pendant measures just under 1" long from the top of the attached jump ring and 1/2" wide. It is hallmarked with "925" and the James Avery signature candelabra. This is the perfect pendant for every animal lover to wear and cherish. Sleeping Beauty turquoise is one of the most highly-prized turquoise in the world today. Intense, Robin's egg blue with little to no matrix in some cases. This vivid turquoise, often referred to as Persian color, has long been sought after by fine jewelers both in Europe and in America. Once available from the incredible Sleeping Beauty Mine in Globe, Arizona, it is the turquoise standard for the world; however, the Mine is now empty and closed, and so Sleeping Beauty Turquoise has become difficult to obtain and fairly expensive. This Sleeping Beauty turquoise was purchased from a longtime reputable vendor in Arizona. If you would like a less expensive version of this necklace, I have other St. Francis pendants which are just as lovely and less expensive because they are not James Avery retired collector charms.
