Czech Alphonse Mucha Design Filigree Brass and Bead Festoon/Bib Necklace

Art Nouveau Revival Alphonse Mucha Czech Filigree Brass and Art Glass Festoon Necklace c1970. Reflecting the 1970's craze for anything in the Art Nouveau style comes this unique Festoon OOK Necklace Displaying Alphonse Mucha French stamped brass Goddess faces and decorative filigree brass findings, it features a large faceted round Garnet glass bead and small Antique Czech Art Glass beads, joined by fine brass links, and with a long central pendant ending in a large round deep Garnet Murano glass bead wrapped in filigree brass. The findings are in varying designs of flowers, shields and Ancient Goddesses (including Circe), and wrap around the beads in a very Art Nouveau/Bohemian way. With a parrot clasp, finished with a single Art glass bead, and a loop closure, it is a stunning piece of Czech whimsy. The Vintage condition is very good. A real One-of-a-kind. I have never worn it and the brass could do with a polish. Measuring 21" clasp to loop, the Festoon drops an extra 8".
