Antique Georgian period 2.02 ctw old mine cut diamond ring in sterling silver & 14k gold

A fabulous antique Georgian period (1714-1837) old mine cut diamond ring in sterling silver & 14k yellow gold. This beautiful antique diamond ring features a sterling silver face with a gold back, as was typical of this period, with all antique romantic sparkling old mine cut diamonds cut down collet set in a wonderful circular pattern with the largest and warmest in the center flanked with medium sized diamonds on the sides and smaller diamonds on the top and bottom leading to a smooth simple gold band. The face was most likely originally foiled and closed backed and at some point has been opened up for modern wear and easier cleaning.
