Beautiful Large white lab-created opal pendant necklace. These gorgeous opals are very similar to natural mined opals. Lab-created opals contain 70-90% silica (from which natural opal is formed) and 10-30% resin. The resin makes the opal harder, and stronger, unlike natural opals, which are known to be soft and fragile. Each opal displays a rainbow of color that sparkles with every catch of light. I've handset two different size opals in solid sterling silver prong settings 16x12mm (5/8" x 1/2") and 18x13mm (3/4" x 9/16").
