This is such a fun one to play around with, and I’m already itching to make some more ✨ Shoutout to my girl @woodlark for the recipe! She has a beautiful tutorial for a star garland using it, so go check that out after this 💫 Here’s the recipe: 2 cups baking soda 1 cup cornstarch 1.5 cups water Place all ingredients into a pot and heat over low/medium heat, stirring constantly until the mixture begins to pull away from the sides of the pan and looks like mashed potatoes. Remove from the heat and allow dough to cool before rolling out, imprinting, and cutting. You can allow the ornaments to dry naturally or you can also speed up the process by baking at 170-200 degrees F until hard, making sure to flip the ornaments every half hour. I painted these with ethically harvested mica mixed with a bit of vodka or compost-safe glue. So shimmery and beautiful ✨ Oh, and that gorgeous enamelware shown is from my favorite, @falconenamel ❤️ They have so many incredible heirloom-quality pieces. I’m just in love. Now I’m off to do a deep clean of my house as my husband is sick, and I’m just praying my kids don’t get it because it’s a doozy 🫡 Happy holiday crafting!
