Romain Maes

Romain Maes (18 August 1913 in Zerkegem22 February 1983 in Groot-Bijgaarden) was a Belgian cyclist who won the 1935 Tour de France. Some claim that he also won the 1936 Paris-Roubaix race, and that Georges Speicher was credited as winning by mistake [1]
