Minnetonka is a suburb in Hennepin County, Minnesota. It is 9 miles to the west of Minneapolis. It is the eighteenth largest city in Minnesota. The name Minnetonka comes from the Dakota Sioux mni tanka, and it means "great water". It has a population of 53,781 as of the 2020 census.[2]
