Sutto in 1945

Janine Sutto (20 April 1921 – 28 March 2017) was a French-born Canadian actress. She was born in Paris, but raised in Montreal. In 1943, she was a founding member of the Théâtre de l'Equipe troupe and continued acting on stage through the early 1950s with Théâtre du Nouveau Monde.[1]

Sutto was known for her roles in Kamouraska, Congorama, and in Route 132.

Sutto died in Montreal on 28 March 2017.[2]
