Hello Gesslein! I apologise for any inconvenience that group of students may have caused in your primary area of editing. They have now finished their project as far as I am aware. The articles they worked on can be found in this tracking category (along with some others that are still going). If they added anything that is no use whatsoever, please feel free to remove it. Your knowledge on the subject is better than mine will ever be, but I will be going over them in the next few days fixing any MOS or grammatical issues. Just letting you know. Kind regards, Anubis [Osiris] 00:39, 17 June 2012 (UTC)

:I apologise if I discouraged any of your students from editing. Putting the notes about what is happening on the talk pages and even in the article itself was the right thing to do. I am sure if the articles are not perfect, they will be worked on eventually. Maybe I will take a look at the articles after you are done correcting and scoring them. Thanks for the note and kindness! :-) --George Gesslein II (talk) 01:36, 17 June 2012 (UTC)

Java

Why did you revert Java?--213.107.74.132 (talk) 18:51, 17 September 2011 (UTC)[reply]

Because there shouldn't be lists of other programming languages in a particular language article, unless they are related somehow to that particular language. Basic is not related to Java (programming language), as far as I know, and QBasic is ancient. Go ahead and add your list to the end of the Programming language article, or make a new article called List of programming languages. Be sure and check every wikilink you add, though. Basic points to a disambiguation page and Java points to the island. Mistakes are OK, but if you make too many of them, we sometimes revert everything. Sorry about that. We love our new editors! Welcome aboard!  :-) --George Gesslein II (talk) 19:29, 17 September 2011 (UTC) P.S.: Edit we are referring to is here.[reply]

A cup of tea for you

For your edits to List of programming languages--213.107.74.132 (talk) 11:22, 19 September 2011 (UTC)[reply]
Thanks, I needed that! --George Gesslein II (talk) 11:26, 19 September 2011 (UTC)[reply]

Rollback.

May I ask what happened here? --Orashmatash 22:49, 18 November 2011 (UTC)[reply]

Sorry about the rollback, I was on the phone and hit the wrong spot on the computer screen. I was trying to undo an earlier mistake someone made. It should be all correct now. Very sorry. BTW, how do you people know what I do so fast? I have no way of getting that kind of information. Regards --George Gesslein II (talk) 22:55, 18 November 2011 (UTC)[reply]
It's cool, I was just wondering what happened. I was on the recent changes and saw it pop up, so that's how I found it. Happy changing! --Orashmatash 13:40, 19 November 2011 (UTC)[reply]
OK, thanks for monitoring the Wiki. I can only protect 600 articles from vandalism, there are many more that need protection. It seems a lot of good articles just disappeared, too. There doesn't seem like much is left of Simple English Wikipedia. They used to have a newsletter, too. I am still happy to help out here. I think it is important to have an encyclopedia that everyone, even children, can understand. Take care! --George Gesslein II (talk) 17:41, 19 November 2011 (UTC)[reply]

Happy Birthday!

Saw your edit summary so thought I'd just say Happy Birthday! :) Normandy 16:33, 7 February 2012 (UTC)[reply]

Thanks! I am having a happy birthday, in fact! Take care! George Gesslein II (talk) 20:06, 7 February 2012 (UTC)[reply]

Technology project

Hello Gesslein! I apologise for any inconvenience that group of students may have caused in your primary area of editing. They have now finished their project as far as I am aware. Your knowledge on the subject is better than mine will ever be, but I will be going over them in the next few days fixing any MOS or grammatical issues. Just letting you know.
