Celtic Christianity refers to the Early Medieval Christian practice that was made in Britain and Ireland before the post-Roman period. Celtic Christianity if different from Modern Christianity because of the way people practice. Now not many people practice this religion

Introduction

Christian worship had reached Ireland around 400 AD. Ireland at this time was pagan. For some reason, the transfer from pagan worship to Christian worship was bad. In order to create faith in Ireland the Irish people made Celtic Christianity.

Successes

The success of Celtic Christian world are great. One example is the Irish people, for example, had no history of literacy until Celtic Christianity came. After Celtic Christianity came the Irish people spoke Latin and started writing books. Irish monks also founded had a big influence in Gaul.

Myths

legend says that Cetlic Christianity in Britain was founded by St. Joseph of Arimathea; legend also says that King Arthur is buried in his ruined abbey. According to legend, Joseph was a tin merchant who was often coming and going to the tin mines of Roman Britain. Legend continues to say that he may have taken his nephew, Jesus, with him on some of these trips. Later Joseph of Aramathea becomes first keeper of the Holy Grail
