'''Gerald Bernard "Jerry" Greenberg''' (July 29, 1936 – December 22, 2017) was an American [[movie editor]] with more than 40 feature movie works. He was born in [[New York City]]. Greenberg won both the [[Academy Award for Film Editing]] and the [[BAFTA Award for Best Editing]] for the movie ''[[The French Connection (movie)|The French Connection]]'' (1971). In the 1980s, he edited five movies with director [[Brian De Palma]]. He also worked on ''[[Apocalypse Now]]'' and ''[[Scarface (1983 movie)|Scarface]]''.
