PlayStation 4 (also known by the abbreviated name PS4)[6][7] is the fourth home video game console produced by Sony Computer Entertainment and is compatible with the PlayStation 3. It was officially announced at a press conference on February 20, 2013 and launched on November 15, 2013. The PS4 console features many games including Minecraft, Just Cause 3, and Call of Duty, Fortnite Battle Royale, Ratchet & Clank and Spider-Man 3 (video game). It doesn't support any audio streaming Bluetooth profile or Advance Audio Distribution Profile, that's why there are many Bluetooth devices which you can't connect to the PS4. It was first discontinued in Brazil on January 9, 2016 as the Xbox One was also discontinued. People says that the PlayStation 4 is for an upgrade due to the technical issues on the PlayStation 3.

Presentation

Sony has invited press to a New York City event on 20 February 2013.[8] The company announced the event on Thursday 31 January, inviting us to "see the future".[9]

Add-ons

In 2016, Sony unveiled the PlayStation VR, a virtual reality headset add-on for the PlayStation 4. The PlayStation VR is not included in the pack if you buy a Ps4 for yourself If you buy a PlayStation 4, it comes with a Mono Headset. If you have a PlayStation VR along with your PlayStation, it also has a PlayStation Camera to visualize what are you doing in the VR so it could be able to program the Ps4 to move the player or any object in the game.

Models

There are three different models of the PS4:

  • Ps4 Pro: The most best model in the Ps4. It gives you unlimited access to all the premium games in the Ps4. The Ps4 Pro has 8 GB in total. But if you want more storage, you can be able to upgrade your Ps4 Pro storage to 500TB or more.
  • Ps4 (Slim) It is the thinner model of the normal PlayStation 4. The Ps4 Slim has 500GB in total.
  • Ps4 (Normal Version): This product is the normal version of the Ps4. It also has 8GB in total same as the Ps4 Pro.
