The Hotel Never is a new artwork by Simon Procter on the subject of the mass obsession with celebrity social media.

The hotel includes images of the 24 individuals with the highest number of followers on Instagram as of October 20th 2016.

Selena Gomez has the highest, 102 million followers this despite posting nothing new for over 2 months.

The hotel itself is a construct of some of the most luxurious environments ever created including, the Palace of Versailles, The grand Barrier Hotel of Deauville and the Palais de Bulles on the cote d azur.  The portraits were taken directly from the instagram accounts of the individuals with an emphasis on personal "selfies" rather than professional shoots.

The work will be premiered simultaneously at Art Basel Miami with Rosenbaum Contemporary and In Paris, St.Germain, with the Betiina Art Contemporain gallery.
