Karboksipeptidaza C (EC 3.4.16.5, karboksipeptidaza Y, serinska karboksipeptidaza I, katepsin A, lizozomalni protektivni protein, deamidaza, lizozomalna karboksipeptidaza A, fazeolin) je enzim.[1][2][3][4] Ovaj enzim katalizuje sledeću hemijsku reakciju
- Odvajanje C-terminalne aminokiseline sa širokom specifičnošću
Ova karboksipeptidaza optimalno deluje na pH 4.5-6.0. Inhibira je diizopropil fluorofosfat, i senzitivna je na tiol-blokirajuće reagense.
