Only take your chest close enough to the wall where you can feel the stretch don’t force it. Breathe out as you take chest towards wall.  2️⃣ Standing twists - if you can’t get both arms round to the wall on your twist try one arm first ( closer arm ) while building mobility. Step closer to the wall for ease. Breathe as you move  3️⃣ Thread the needle - play around with distance from wall. Don’t worry if you can’t get your shoulder to the wall. Janet Osborne on Instagram: "Hey friends 💕 Let’s talk posture and Wall Angels 😇   I will be the first to admit I struggle with this exercise too, but it doesn’t mean we should give up.   If you’re like me and can’t quite get into a perfect wall angel don’t worry, here are 3 exercises to help you build up to it plus some modifications to make it more accessible .  1. Seated overhead reach X 10 2. Half knee chest opener X 10 3. Prone swimmer X 10 4. Wall Angels X 10  If you are very tight in the shoulders and cannot keep them against the wall, it is OK to begin the exercise with the elbows and arms slightly forward off the wall.  As you progress, you can work towards getting your shoulders back and then the elbows, and then the hands against the wall.
