Have you ever tried using your CONNETIX Ball Run tubes with CARS?

Exploring different items that can roll down the ball run tube is a great way to learn about Trajectory Schema. Kids learn about the path objects take as they move. They can experiment with how gravity and force affect the direction and speed of the car.

This play idea by @rumbleandrour can easily be turned into a colour-sorting activity too. Will you be giving this a go?

In my work in schools and nurseries I get to observe a lot of different children at play. It's fascinating to stand back and watch what they are doing, springing, twirling rolling and running about. At first so much of it seems completely random, but if we spend enough time paying close attention to what they are doing, we can see there are clear patterns in their types of play, movements and actions.
