How to write a lower body workout:  - start with heavy compound exercise (squats, deadlifts) breaks should be 2-4mon - 2-4 assistance exercises, single leg exercises are recommended (hip thrusts, RDLs, lunges) rest length 60-90s - 2-4 rounds of a metabolic finisher is highly recommended for those with the goal of fat loss. Push/pull a sled, treadmill sprints, farmer walks. If you, like many, have had the same few weights for years and you are repeating the same exercises. It's unlikely that the weight you are lifting is causing much of a change. Just ask yourself, have you progressed much?  Now don't get me wrong, goblet squats are a great exercise..... and when I say heavy, I mean heavy in relation to what you lift. So go heavy while maintaining form, and before someone says it... no, don't just throw in a load more reps.   Finally, the staggered stance or B stance is a great variation as it gives you a similar stimulus to a single leg squat but with the added balance of the back leg.
