The Catacomb Saints: St. Theodora

I am very pleased that it goes back to my project on the Catacomben Saints from Switzerland. This time it went into the Rheinau monastery and we visited 4 catacombs saint. I was fascinated especially the St. Deodatus and the St.. Theodora. Both are sitting on chairs to see and on the side altars. Here the St. Theodora the martyr on one chair under a small canopy. The Catacomb Saints: St. Irenaeus

I spent the entire afternoon in the Church for the Catacombe Siant: "St. Irenaeus". The St. Irenaeus decorated in Baroque style. And many Catacombe- Saint was protect with a fine gauze. there was placed over the head. And St. Irenaeus was given in 1654 by the Swiss-Guard Lieutenant Rudolf Pfyffer from Lucerne to the Church. And this mix of urban exploration and dark tourism is quite interesting. I hope you enjoy it. And have a nice evening and good weekend...
