Chloe Rushworth | Interior design | Home Renovation | DIY on Instagram: "DETAILED BILLY BOOKCASE BUILT IN GUIDE 🙌🏻 Do they look like IKEA though? Save this hack and let me know if you have any questions 🙌🏻✨ Third time lucky posting this morning. We were quoted £££ and managed to create these for around £300. They’re one of my favourite things in my home 😍 So here’s how we created this bespoke look. You’ll need: - IKEA Billy bookcases, the short ones with Oxberg doors - Skirting - MDF - An extra door to cut in half 😉 - A kitchen end panel for the top (budget hack) - B&Q tongue and groove panel kit - Coving of choice"

DIY - IKEA Hack on Instagram: "@amandamfontenot shared her impressive built-in bookcases, cleverly crafted using IKEA’s Billy bookcases and Oxberg doors. This option provides ample storage while conserving space, as these bookcases have a depth of less than 12 inches. For the countertop she used two edge-glued wood panels from Lowe’s. She cut them to size and joined them with pocket screws. A coat of black chalk paint and finishing wax completed the look, creating the perfect top for the Billy cabinets in her dining room.
