Papadimitriou Eleftheria has been a Professor of Seismology at Geophysics Department of the Aristotle University of Thessaloniki since 2001. She obtained her undergraduate degree and her PhD in Seismology at the Geophysics Department of the Aristotle University of Thessaloniki. Her main activities during the past 10 years have been short-term and long–term earthquake forecasting in the broader area of Greece on the basis of seismicity and probabilistic models, studies of seismic sequences, seismotectonics of the broader area of Greece, fault plane solutions and stress patterns.
