Dr. Kang Seog Kim is a Distinguished R&D Staff Member at the Nuclear Energy and Fuel Cycle Division, Oak Ridge National Laboratory, Oak Ridge, TN, USA. He received his Bachelor’s degree in 1984 and his Master’s degree in 1986 from Yonsei University and his Ph.D. degree in Nuclear Engineering from Oregon State University in 2000. His main research focuses on computational reactor physics, transport theory, nuclear data processing, resonance self-shielding methodology, and multiphysics modeling and simulation. In addition, he is a member of the ANS Honor Society in Nuclear Engineering.
