Cheng-Hsien Liu received his M.S. degree in electrical engineering and Ph.D. degree in mechanical engineering both from Stanford University in 1995 and 2000, respectively. Presently he is a professor in the Power Mechanical Engineering Department at National Tsing Hua University. His research activities cover various areas in Lab on Chip, Organ on Chip, MicroElectroMechanical Systems, System Dynamics/Modeling/Control and Nanotechnology. He received the 2011 Outstanding Research Award from National Science Council (NSC/MOST) in Taiwan. He received research funds from the 2021 Engineering-Technology Leap Program from Ministry of Science and Technology, Taiwan, R.O.C.
