Lawn Fawnatics Challenge #213 - Lots of Heart

happy Monday!
let's start this week off with a NEW challenge over at the Lawn Fawnatics Challenge blog!

loving this season of love! lol!

so fun!
I had a blast making this fun Valentine's Day card mixed with old and new products!

I started by stamping the images from Critter Conversation Hearts Add-on, Swan Soiree and Wood You Be Mine? and coloring them in with Zig Clean Color Real Brush Markers. I also added some details with a white gel pen, and then used the coordinating dies to die cut them out.

 

for the background, I die cut out the scene with the Riverside Backdrop: Portrait from white cardstock. then I used Distress Inks to add color.
for the river, I used Wilted Violet, Blueprint Sketch and Mermaid Lagoon. for the grass, I used Twisted Citron, Mowed Lawn and Pine Needles. then for the sky, I used Uncharted Mariner, Peacock Feathers and Salvaged Patina.
I splattered the same river colors on top of the river to add some sparkly details. I also used the Clouds Background Stencils and some white embossing paste to add a tiny bit of texture to the sky.

the sentiment was heat embossed in white onto Black Licorice cardstock, that I trimmed down into a banner. and then I added the conversation hearts to the 'dam' of trees too! so cute!

sweet kitty window scene!

today I have this sweet card up on the Newton's Nook Designs blog!
I was inspired by my cats, who are obsessed with looking out all of the windows! lol!

I die cut the cat images from black cardstock with the Cat Silhouettes die set. then I added some foam tape to pop them up.
I used the Frames & Tags die set to create the window, and used a grey cardstock for the frame.
I also did some ink blending in the background of the window to create a pretty sunset scene.
I used Distress Inks in Picked Raspberry and Dried Marigold.

for the curtain, I used some woodgrain vellum an the Land Borders die set to die cut it out! it's so perfect! lol! LOVE it!
I used the bow from the Pines & Holly die set, and die cut it out from some warm pink cardstock.
then I used the banner from the Bookmark die set to frame the sentiment, which is from the Cat-itude stamp set and was heat embossed in white onto the black cardstock.

I finished off the card by placing the entire scene on the gorgeous paper from Love & Meows, which just looks so much like wallpaper for this scene!

Lawn Fawn Lots of Hearts Week 2026

hello!
so happy to be popping in with a mid-month card up on the Lawn Fawn blog, as they celebrate loooooooove this week with the Lots of Hearts celebration! so fun!
and bonus! I made a video, so you can create along with me! :)

I started by stamping the images from the new Valentine Mice, Critter Conversation Hearts, Critter Conversation Hearts Add-on, Love Poems, Bubbles of Joy and You Autumn Know.
you just know I love coloring the mice and I had a ton of fun coloring these images for this fun valentine's day themed card!
I also added some details with a white gel pen, and then used the coordinating dies to die cut the images out, once everything was dry.

for the background, I used the Brick Stencil and Distress Oxide Inks in Candied Apple, Picked Raspberry, Dried Marigold and Tattered Rose. such a pretty color combo, and perfect for this season of love! lol! 

I also splattered all of the ink colors all over the card front too.
I did the same ink blending with the stencil and the flappy mechanism of the die, so the brick would line up when it's pulled out! what fun!

I used the Flippy Flappy die to create the fun interactive element, and to have the mouse pop up with joy! ha! it just cracks me up!
I also die cut the think "LOVE" phrase from the Giant Outlined Love die with Black Licorice Cardstock.

so excited to share the first (of many) cards up on the Newton's Nook blog for 2026!
what fun!
and this card is Valentine's Day themed! 

so sweet!
I just love these cute little construction vehicles!
I stamped and colored all of the images and then colored them in with Zig Clean Color Real Brush Markers. I used images from Love Quarry and Valentine Postage Sampler. 
I also added some details with a white gel pen. and once everything was dry, I used the coordinating dies to die cut them out. 

I die cut out the frame with a warm pink tone of cardstock and white cardstock with the Frames & Tags die set. I used the white dies that were created from the windows and did some ink blending with Lost Shadow Distress Oxide Ink, then I added some texutre with white embossing paste and the Petite Hearts Stencil. 
I also die cut out the dirt piles from white cardstock using the Sky Borders die set. then I did lots of ink blending with Vintage Photo, Walnut Stain and Fossilized Amber. I also splattered some ink color and white acrylic ink on top. 

I love how easy it was to combine the images from both stamp sets! 
I finished off the card by heat embossing the sentiment in white onto black cardstock. and adding just a sprinkling of black splatters in a few corners.

Lawn Fawnatics Challenge #212 - Let's Celebrate

happy Monday!
let's start this week off with a NEW challenge over at the Lawn Fawnatics Challenge blog!

what a perfect way to kick off the new year!
time to celebrate!

this challenge has something for everyone!

I stamped and colored the images from Yappy Birthday, Yappy Birthday Add-on, Party Animal and Furry & Bright. I used Zig Clean Color Real Brush Markers to color, and then, of course, added details with a white gel pen. once everything was dry, I used the coordinating dies to die cut them out. 

for the background, I did some ink blending with Blueprint Sketch, Mermaid Lagoon and Salvage Patina Distress Oxide Inks, about 1/2 way down the card front. then I splattered some of the ink color on top! 

 

I also did ink blending onto another piece of cardstock that was die cut with the Grassy Border. I used Distress Oxide Inks in Pine Needles, Mowed Lawn and Twisted Citron.
I finished off the card by heat embossing the sentiment in white on the green grass.

what a fun birthday celebration and fun card, right?

Love You a Mole Lot!

today I am excited to share that I have a card up on the Lawn Fawn blog! and that's not all, I also made a video for this card! what fun!

I was super excited to use the newest release for this card, and I had a BLAST coloring up these little moles!

see? eeeep! adorable!
I stamped the images from A Mole Lot of Love, Critter Conversation Hearts and Little Woodland Library and then colored them in with Zig Clean Color Real Brush Markers. I also added some details with a white gel pen.
then I used the coordinating dies to die cut them out.

next, I worked on the main part of the card!
I die cut everything out of Vanilla Malt Cardstock with the Platform Pop-up dies. then I did lots of ink blending on top!
I used Fossilized Amber, Vintage Photo and Walnut Stain to ink blend the dirt look. I also spent lots of time splattering! I splattered all of the same ink colors as well as white acrylic ink! LOVE that look!

I also die cut out some of the clouds from the Platform Pop-up Cloud Inserts, and did the same ink blending/splattering to make it look like more dirt piles! what a fun scene!

I couldn't resist adding almost ALL of the moles and worms that I could!
I also heat embossed part of the sentiment in white onto Black Licorice Cardstock.

hello!
today I have this funny card up on the Lawn Fawnatics Challenge blog!
the current challenge is a mood board inspiration and it's SO sparkly and shiny and festive and fun!

I was inspired by the shiny, sparkly rainbow theme and used some fun foil on a black sky to add the fun on my card!
so fun!
I stamped and colored the images from Silly Goose and Cozy Cats Christmas Add-on with Zig Clean Color Real Brush Markers. then I added some details with a white gel pen and die cut them out with their coordinating dies.

for the background, I used Black Licorice cardstock and then did lots of layers! the pine branches on the String of Lights Background Stencils were done with green flock. then I used rainbow foil for the lights and white embossing paste for the stings.

I also used the Knock Knock, Who's There? and Knock Knock, Who's There? Tree Add-on! the tree was die cut with Fog Cardstock. and then I die cut out some snowy banks from white cardstock with the Puffy Cloud Borders.

I finished the card off by heat embossing the sentiment in white onto vellum, and then I die cut it out with the Stitched Sentiment Banners. and then I splattered the white acrylic ink on top to finish off the snowy scene.
