Fire safety fun!

Trying to do more "family outings." I have this tendency to want to stay at home and work on "house projects" so I am giving "getting out of the house" extra emphasis especially when there is a free family event! : )

This was the fire departments open house night. The big event for the boys was a ride in a firetruck at the end.

BROTHERS!!!

TJ and MOM

THE PARENTS! : )

Watching a police dog in action! Scary!

Lee had a balloon tied to his hand... he walked around all night with his hand in the air. LOL!

DAD helping Lee get his balloon on his wrist.

Had a wonderful chance to go to General Conference. It's held every 6 months and I have never attended in person. It was amazing to be there and see it all! Way to cool!

It's funny what kids will do if they have enough determination... a family friend brought over a bike fro TJ to try and ride. He wouldn't stop trying until he got the hang of it. In 1 hour he learned to ride and was cruising all over. I guess when they are ready... they are ready! lol!

High School Reunion - July 17th

What a great time I had this last week. Living in Utah definitely has it's perks... who would have thought that a group of kids can graduate together in Illinois and then 15 years later meet up in Utah for a mini reunion? Crazy! We were not able to get all of us together at the same time... one picture was taken Monday and the other at my house on Saturday. I keep commenting to anyone who wants to know... that the fun part of the mini reunion is feeling like we haven't been apart for 15 years. : ) It was great to see everyone all these years later. We definitely have to make this a yearly thing! : )

ps Everybody has married the sweetest spouses! Hooray, for their support and letting us all get together! It was fantastic!

I just watched this amazing video. I go to church with Brittany's mother and I knew her daughter was sick. In fact she serves as the jr singing time chorister and I am the Sr chorister. Her husband and her, have to take turns going to sacrament and church so that someone can always be with Brittany. I knew this video was out there and I just looked it up today... what an WONDERFUL true story. I am sharing it with you now... sometimes... Utah can be an amazing place to live.

Family Home Evening...

My mom is great! She almost always does a fun Family Home Evening dinner for all of her grandkids. (the joys of living close) I haven't been very good about posting all the fun things she has done but here is one... we had a Indian night. It was my job to bring the Indians all dressed up and then Grammy had buffalo burger & fry bread for dinner... it was fun.

Here are a few pics of the boys getting ready!

Leo, my nephew

Lee-B! He wanted to wear his into Walmart. (a comprise was made when he was allowed to wear the head piece)

Grumpy Taylor... who wasn't in the mood for a photograph.

Cute Leo!
