How to Teach Figurative Language
Are you struggling with how to teach figurative language to your upper elementary students? This post breaks down how to introduce figurative language and how to assess students along the way. I am sharing some of my favorite figurative language activities including digital review games and figurative language flipbooks. Students can do these in small groups during literacy centers or stations. They can use the digital figurative language activities or task cards.
