Maya Nose Ornament Necklace

Handmade face ornament with genuine Tiger Eye, turquoise, 925 sterling silver fish hook, and gold plated brass faux septum ring. Our ancestors have used both stones for protection on our journey. To the Mayas, tattoos, and piercings were a sign of strength and also a status symbol. Body art was even more painful then and, therefore more appreciated. *Using a necklace or shoestring, measure ONE SIDE of your face from the septum to your earlobe where the fishhook (piercing) will be inserted. Beads are all one uniform size, as seen in second picture.
